The Nashville Amateur Radio Club has enjoyed exclusive use of one of the historic buildings at Lock Two Park since at least the early 1970s.
In 2019, an internal water pipe broke causing over $30,000 of damage. This rendered the structure unsafe for occupancy and thus unusable for Club meetings and functions. The building is managed by Metro Nashville Parks Department. The Club needs your help in getting these funds allocated in order to repair the damage and begin using the building again.
Attached below is a sample draft letter for you to download and customize as you see fit to send to your councilperson. We appreciate everyone’s assistance in getting this historic building repaired and back to serving the community! Thank you KJ4WQN for conducting the research and drafting this letter.
