Background: The Tennessee Military Department has several organizations under it, the Tennessee National Guard (Army Guard), Air Guard, State Guard, and TEMA. We are interested in making the public aware of the missions given specifically to the Tennessee State Guard from the Governor of Tennessee under the direction of the Tennessee National Guard. One of those missions is a communications interface between the National Guard and TEMA during any civil response to things like earthquakes, flooding, tornado’s, etc. This is where you as HAM operators come in.
